When do we collect your personal data?

Your personal data may be collected when:

What personal information do we collect?

We collect the information that you provide to us as part of our commercial relationship, in particular:

  • when you create a customer or prospect account and join a loyalty program;

  • when managing your orders, returns, complaints;

  • during your exchanges with our customer service;

  • when you participate in a promotional game.

The information whose collection is strictly necessary to provide you with a service is marked with an asterisk and generally concerns your surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, landline or mobile telephone number, date of birth.

We also collect personal information when you purchase our products or when you use our services. In particular, we collect information relating to the amount and nature of your purchases, information relating to your orders, your invoices and your customer or prospect experience on our online services.

In accordance with the regulations, we do not collect data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, genetic personal data, biometric personal data for the purpose of identifying a natural person, personal data concerning health or personal data concerning the sex life or sexual orientation of a natural person. 

These particular categories of personal data are never collected or processed by Bikini'z Shop.

Management of our obligations to our customers

Management of orders, deliveries and returns

As part of the performance of our obligations to our customers, we collect and use your personal information to manage our commercial relationship, in particular to manage your purchases and orders, to deliver your products, to take charge of your possible returns and to offer you our services and promotional offers that may be of interest to you. This information helps us to improve your online shopping experience, as referred to below. 

Communication with you 

We collect and store your personal information to communicate with you about your orders, invoices or customer service complaints.

Improving your customer experience

We analyze your personal information to improve your customer experience. Unless you object, these analyzes allow us to offer you innovative products or additional or promotional offers or to display advertisements that respond, as far as possible, to your consumption habits and your centers of interest.

 

Legal or regulatory requirement

We may be required to disclose your personal data in the event of legitimate requests by public authorities, in particular to meet national security, anti-fraud or law enforcement requirements.

Prevention and fight against fraud

The data collected is also used in the context of the prevention and fight against fraud, particularly with regard to bank cards. Bikini'z Shop reserves the right to verify the personal data provided by the customer when placing the order and to adopt all measures deemed necessary to verify that the person whose account bank is debited is the one who placed the order, in order to avoid any fraudulent payment. This verification may take the form of a request for proof of identity and/or residence. 

In the absence of a positive response from the customer, Bikini'z Shop reserves the right to cancel the order placed by the customer.

Debt collection 

When the full amount of money due is not paid by the customer, it becomes an unpaid amount. For this purpose, we may be required to communicate your personal data to our debt collection service provider. 

Other cases

In all other cases, you will be notified of the treatments that Bikini'z Shop plans to do.

 

Who are the recipients of your personal data?

We ensure that only authorized persons within Bikini'z Shop  can access your personal data when this access is necessary for the execution of our commercial relationship.
 

Where are your personal data stored?

The data is stored in compliance with French legislation and European regulations.

We may share with other companies personal data necessary for the implementation of the services that you have contracted or subscribed to (examples: home delivery, collection point). Operations with a service provider receiving your data are the subject of a contract in order to ensure the protection of your data and the respect of your rights.

If our service provider operates outside the European Union, we protect the confidentiality of your personal information and your rights by using the data protection clauses recommended by the European Commission.

The data retention periods comply with the recommendations of the CNIL and/or legal obligations:

Data from your customer account

 

Behavioral data 

Segmentation: 5 years from the end of the relationship with the customer. The period starts from either the last order, or the last connection to the customer account, or the last call to customer service, or the sending of an email to customer service, or a click on a hypertext link an email sent by Bikini'z Shop, or the placing of products in the basket without the purchase being made, or finally a positive response to an email asking if the customer wishes to continue to receive commercial prospecting at the expiry of the five-year period. At the end of this period, the customer's data will be anonymized.

Identity documents communicated as part of the exercise of the rights of interrogation, access, rectification and opposition:  1 year from the date of receipt by Bikini'z Shop.

Bank data (RIB/IBAN): 10 years from the end of the commercial relationship with the customer.

Cookies: 24 months for Google Analytics and Facebook cookies and 13 months for all other cookies, from their deposit on the user's terminal.

Purchase data: 5 years from the end of the relationship with the customer.

Prospect data: 5 years from the end of the relationship with the prospect. The period begins from either the last connection to the prospect account, or the last call to customer service, or the sending of an email to customer service, or a click on a hypertext link in an email sent by Bikini'z Shop, or the placing of products in the basket without the purchase being made, or finally a positive response to an email asking if the prospect wishes to continue to receive commercial prospecting at the end of the period of five year. At the end of this period, the data of the customer or prospect will be anonymized.

At the end of these periods, we can proceed to the archiving of the data, in particular to meet the deadlines of legal and fiscal prescriptions and those of legal actions.

Cookie management

On the occasion of the consultation of our website, we may be required, if you accept it, to deposit cookies on your computer, thanks to your navigation software. Cookies allow us during their period of validity or registration, to identify your computer during your next visits. Bikini'z Shop partners or service providers, or third-party companies, may also place cookies on your computer. Web beacons

Bikini'z Shop uses web beacons on certain pages of the Site which allow the number of visitors to the page to be counted. These web beacons may be used with some of our business partners, in particular to measure and improve the effectiveness of certain advertisements. The information collected via these web beacons is anonymous and makes it possible to know the frequentation of certain pages of the Site, in order to better assist the users of the Site.

Social media plug-ins

The site uses social network plugins such as Facebook, Twitter (hereinafter “Social Networks”). For example, if the user is connected to Facebook when browsing the Site, Facebook can directly link his visit to his Facebook user account even if the user has not used the share button. If the user interacts via the plugins, for example by clicking on the "Like" button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information will be transmitted and stored on a Facebook server. They will be published on the user's Facebook account.

Bikini'z Shop does not manage the data collected by Social Networks via the buttons. The user must read the policy relating to the protection of personal data published by the Social Networks concerned, in order to know the methods of processing and use of the data collected by the latter as well as the possibilities of settings which he available to protect their privacy. Our security and confidentiality commitments

Respecting your right to the protection, security and confidentiality of your data is our priority.

Bikini'z Shop sets up organizational and technical security measures adapted to the degree of sensitivity of personal data to protect them against any malicious intrusion, any loss, alteration or disclosure to unauthorized third parties.
